Michael Clark, Managing Director and Consulting Actuary in Agilis’s Denver office, will discuss Pooled Employer Plans, which became an option for plan sponsors on January 1, 2021 as a result of provisions in the SECURE Act. These arrangements allow plan sponsors to become a participating sponsor of an otherwise larger defined contribution plan (401(k) or 403(b)). This luncheon will go through the details of how Pooled Employer Plans are setup in terms of record keepers, investment options, administration, plan design, fees, and ultimately fiduciary risk and responsibility.
