Please join us for our December luncheon:

Save the Beer

Climate change is a widely discussed political and environmental issue, and one couple, Dan and Virginia Carreno, is talking about how it impacts what is near and dear to Coloradoans – beer!  The "Save the Beer" presentation will address how beer production is affected by climate change and what breweries in Denver and across Colorado are doing to make sure there is plenty of water, barley, and hops to sustain thirsty connoisseurs.

Nonprofit Showcase - CASA

In honor of Colorado Gives Day, we will also feature a nonprofit at the beginning of the meeting - CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. or Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children.  CASA has local organizations throughout Colorado and the rest of the country which select, train and support community members to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Juvenile Court. Dustin Thomas from Child Advocates – Denver CASA will provide information on ways our members can support this important mission throughout Colorado.
