Tom Wald, CFA, Chief Investment Officer of Transamerica Asset Management (TAM). 
Tom is the Chief Investment Officer of Transamerica Asset Management and has been with the company since February of 2014. As a Member of the Senior Management team at Transamerica, Tom is responsible for overseeing investment and mutual fund product management and the sub-adviser selection and monitoring process. He also actively publishes Transamerica’s investment thought leadership to advisors, clients, and the media. Tom has more than 25 years of investment experience and has served as a portfolio manager for large mutual funds and separate accounts at Invesco Funds Group and Munder Capital.  Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tulane University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
